[Case Study] ~ Case from the 71st Katsushika Fireworks Festival ~
Monitoring visitor trends remotely at the fireworks festival venue! Understanding crowd congestion to avoid crowd-related accidents.
We would like to introduce a case where a popular fireworks festival, boasting 200,000 to 300,000 attendees, established a system for real-time remote monitoring of the entire venue using "G-cam." In the event of a crowd forming, it was necessary to quickly dispatch security personnel to the scene to ensure a smooth flow of people. Therefore, a tool for remote monitoring of the entire venue was required. Based on the situation monitored with "G-cam," security personnel were deployed, contributing to a smooth flow of people and the prevention of crowd-related accidents. 【Case Overview】 ■ Challenges - It was necessary to eliminate as many crowd formations as possible to address the "crowd accidents" that could occur due to the large number of attendees. - A tool for remote monitoring of the entire venue was needed. ■ Results - Established a system for real-time remote monitoring of the entire venue. - Contributed to a smooth flow of people and the prevention of crowd-related accidents. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
