This is a water-based rust converter that enables simple repairs and rust prevention for metal structures such as streetlights and poles. It chemically stabilizes red rust (turning it into a black coating) and eliminates the need for excessive scraping, achieving labor savings and improved durability. It exhibits excellent adhesion even on non-ferrous metals like zinc and aluminum, which are generally considered difficult to paint, and this has been verified by tests conducted by the Japan Paint Inspection Association. The effectiveness and durability regarding red rust on iron parts have been confirmed through demonstration tests by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. After neutralizing the red rust, the area is protected with a silicone acrylic resin coating, and similarly, non-corroded and non-ferrous metal parts are also protected, eliminating the need for different types of paint.
