―Contributing to the improvement of energy self-sufficiency rates in buildings such as offices― (Trial sale)

AGC, in collaboration with wall material manufacturer Nozawa, has developed a method for installing solar panels called "Asrock Rail Fastener Solar Panel Installation Method" (provisional name), which enables power generation through building walls (patent pending). As the lack of space for installing solar panels has become a challenge, promoting this installation method will contribute to improving the energy self-sufficiency rate of buildings. Moving forward, we aim to conduct trial sales towards practical application in buildings such as offices, with the goal of starting sales by the end of 2023.

basic information

The "Asrock Rail Fastener Solar Panel Installation Method" (tentative name) is a method for installing solar panels on extruded cement boards, which are primarily used as wall materials in offices and other buildings. It has been newly developed by leveraging the know-how of Nozawa's exterior wall panel business and the expertise of the AGC Group in glass installation and solar power glass (Sunjoule) business. Safety verification against natural disasters such as earthquakes and winds has already been completed, and preparations are underway for the full-scale launch of sales in the future.
