The modern business environment is constantly changing due to the diversification of work styles and customer needs brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as changes in business models. With the increasing necessity for digital transformation (DX) as it is said that companies unable to adapt to these changes will not survive, new IT technologies are being utilized. On the other hand, reports indicate that over 90% of companies are either not engaged in DX or are only in the early stages of starting their efforts. Many may be struggling with the dilemma of not knowing how to approach the review of their internal systems, as existing systems are scattered or have become black boxes. To flexibly respond to changes in the business environment, it is essential to understand the state of existing systems and maintain them in a manageable condition. Additionally, by establishing a framework that bridges individual systems, including newly adopted systems, companies can integrate and manage internal data, leading to a review and optimization of operations, and ultimately advancing DX. In this seminar, we will introduce methods of IT modernization that transform existing systems into flexible systems that can continue to be used, as well as tools that enable data linkage between internal systems through no-code and rapid development.
