Streamlining Input Operations in Paper Business DX! - Key Points for Selecting AI-OCR and Improvement Strategies Using Mobile Apps -

When advancing business improvement, the first stumbling block is often the digitization of paper documents. While the introduction of AI-OCR and RPA is progressing as a solution, many have reported that the results are not as effective as expected, and manual work still remains. Additionally, for reports and check sheets generated from information exchanges with "on-site" locations such as stores and factories, there are cases where utilizing mobile apps can optimize operations. In this seminar, based on insights gained from extensive proposals and implementation experience, we will explain the selection criteria for AI-OCR focusing on scale (number of processed pages and items), use cases, and document characteristics. We will also introduce improvement strategies for on-site paper operations using "Platio," a no-code platform that allows for easy mobile app creation, along with examples and demonstrations. Furthermore, we will present methods for preventing duplicate entries and input errors by linking digitized data with various systems through an approach called "data integration," enabling more complex input tasks to be automated and streamlined with greater accuracy.
