Shizuoka Prefecture construction case study: Reinforcement method for existing rockfall protection fences - Noise control measures during demolition!
Noise, dust, and high alkaline water treatment measures during demolition are not required. It is a simple construction method.
Here is a case study of the "Stronger Method" implemented in Shizuoka Prefecture. As a result of the construction, the fence height increased from 1.5m to 2.0m, with a construction length of L = 30.0m. This method connects the tops of the posts with steel rods, allowing the load that was previously supported by a single span to be distributed across multiple spans. Additionally, in areas where there are concerns about insufficient fence height, height-raising materials can be used to increase the fence height. [Case Study] ■Height-raising type (Fence height: H = 1.5 → 2.0m, Construction length: L = 30.0m) ■Shizuoka Prefecture (Construction: Fiscal Year 2018) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
basic information
【Construction Method Features】 ■ Performance - The upper and lower reinforcement brackets restrain the twisting of the posts and prevent buckling at the base of the posts. - By connecting the tops of the posts with steel rods, the loads that were previously supported by a single span in conventional methods are distributed across multiple spans. ■ Workability - No special tools or skilled workers are required for the installation of components. - The components are lightweight, making installation simple. ■ Environmental Impact - No need to cut down surrounding trees as small machinery is not used. - Reduced impact on local residents, such as traffic restrictions. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
