(President: Toshihiko Shiozaki) will launch the steel FIX window "Elifight Plus," which uses heat-resistant laminated glass that is less likely to shatter and scatter even if broken due to earthquakes, as a certified specific fire protection equipment by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, starting January 11, 2018. "Elifight Plus" is a specific fire protection equipment that incorporates heat-resistant laminated glass made by bonding two pieces of heat-resistant glass with a special resin film into a steel FIX window. This structure not only demonstrates high fire resistance but also features high impact safety, making it less likely for the glass to shatter and scatter when subjected to earthquakes or strong impacts. By adding "Elifight Plus," which exhibits high safety even during disasters, to the lineup of specific fire protection equipment "Elifight Series" with heat-resistant glass, we will continue to respond to various customer needs to support the creation of bright and open spaces.
