Proposal for preparedness against urban water disasters: Exhibiting four types of water-stopping products at the "2019 Disaster Prevention Industry Exhibition in Tokyo" - Experience the water-stopping performance through demonstrations using water tanks.
Cultural Shutter Co., Ltd. will exhibit four types of water-stopping products, the "Water Stop Master Series," at the disaster prevention event "2019 Disaster Prevention Industry Exhibition in Tokyo," held at Tokyo Big Sight, Aomi Exhibition Hall, from June 5 (Wednesday) to June 7 (Friday). The products being exhibited include the water-stopping door "Aquard," which achieves lightweight operability and can withstand water pressure loads of up to 3 meters; the power-free "Buoyant Rising Water Stop Board," which automatically stands up due to the buoyancy of water; the aluminum water stop board "Rakusette," which allows entry and exit from the opening after installation; and the lightweight, quick-installation simple water stop sheet "Tomepita." Additionally, on June 7 (Friday) at 1:20 PM, our development staff, who are members of the Japan Disaster Prevention Industry Conference, will give a lecture on the theme "Countermeasures for Flood Damage Due to Sudden Heavy Rain (tentative title)" at a workshop hosted by the Japan Disaster Prevention Industry Conference, so please join us for that as well.

(President: Toshihiko Shiozaki) will exhibit three types of water-stopping products at the disaster prevention event "2018 Disaster Prevention Industry Exhibition in Tokyo," which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight from May 30 (Wednesday) to June 1 (Friday). The products being exhibited include the aluminum water-stopping board "Rakusetto," which prevents flooding in buildings caused by large typhoons and sudden heavy rain; the water-stopping door "Aquard," which can withstand water pressure loads of up to 3 meters; and the "Buoyancy-Responsive Water-Stopping Board," which rises due to buoyancy when water levels suddenly increase during heavy rain. Additionally, we will conduct water-stopping experiments using a water tank at our exhibition booth, allowing visitors to verify the performance of these products.
