Preventing Falls and Drop Accidents in the Construction Industry through Image Recognition AI ◆ Joint Development by Hitachi Solutions and Okumura Corporation Hitachi Solutions, Ltd. began selling the "Detection Service for Non-Users of Fall Arrest Equipment Hooks for the Construction Industry," jointly developed with Okumura Corporation, on May 17. Since February 2019, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare has tightened safety standards, mandating the use of full harness-type "fall arrest equipment" during high-altitude work. This service automatically detects non-users of "fall arrest equipment" hooks during work on steel frames using image recognition AI and sends notifications if the non-use condition continues for a certain period.
