Developing an add-in to reduce the workload of designers due to the special exception reduction of Article 4 ◆ Limited-time free distribution AMDlab Co., Ltd. announced on August 7 that it will distribute for free an alpha version of a wooden calculation Revit add-in developed for wooden building designers. The enforcement of the special exception reduction bill is scheduled for April 2025. As a result, projects that previously could omit submissions will now require the submission of structural and energy-saving related documents. In response, the company has developed an add-in to alleviate the anticipated workload of designers and decided to distribute it for free. As a condition for distribution, users will be asked to complete a survey after use, with the intention of incorporating designers' feedback for improvements.
