In the 2023 first-class architect exam, the national pass rate was 16.2%, while the pass rate for the Comprehensive Qualification Academy was 82.5%. ◆ This year, the difficulty level was high, and the number of younger examinees increased. The Comprehensive Qualification Academy, a school for obtaining qualifications related to construction and real estate, released an analysis of the results of the "2023 First-Class Architect Exam" on August 30. In the 2023 exam, there were 28,118 actual examinees and 4,562 passers, resulting in a pass rate of 16.2%, which was lower than the previous year. In contrast, the academy's pass rate was over five times the national average at 82.5%. The 2023 exam was more difficult than the previous year, particularly in Section II (Environment and Equipment), which had more challenging content than usual. Additionally, new terms related to legal revisions and new technologies, as well as terms arising from recent social conditions, were included for the first time.
