Tanaka Seismic Structure Research Institute Co., Ltd. has developed the world's first "3D Vibration Reduction Device" to solve various vibration issues. The "3D Vibration Reduction Device" is a device that continuously reduces three-dimensional vertical, horizontal, and diagonal vibrations using proprietary technology, and is provided along with a vibration reduction prediction analysis system. Two experimental patents have already been obtained, and in August 2020, four units installed in facilities above NEXCO's highway tunnels significantly reduced traffic vibrations from underground highway tunnels.
