A new construction method that meets the demand for super high-rise buildings using general equipment and conventional construction methods ◆ Tip bearing capacity 1.6 times that of conventional methods Kajima Corporation announced on December 4 that it has jointly developed the "Earth-LEX Method" with Toyo Techno Co., Ltd. for the construction of super high-rise buildings over 300 meters. The "Earth-LEX Method" uses the largest bell-bottom bucket in Japan, allowing for the construction of bell-bottom piles with a diameter of 6,100 mm using general excavation machinery and materials, similar to the conventional method of using bell-bottom piles with a diameter of less than 4,800 mm. Additionally, it achieves a tip bearing capacity 1.6 times greater than that of conventional bell-bottom pile methods, with a maximum high bearing capacity of 100 MN class. Construction experiments and analyses have confirmed the integrity of the bell-bottom section and the absence of landslide risks. Furthermore, in August 2022, it also received certification from the Japan Building Center. *For more details, please check the related product information below.
