On December 8, IXIS Co., Ltd. announced the development of the AR volume management service "GENBA-Scan" in collaboration with Japan Road Co., Ltd., aimed at enhancing inventory management of paving materials in stockyards. This new service is scheduled to be launched around April 2024, with plans for future applications not only in stockyards but also in a wide range of fields including civil engineering materials, industrial materials, and agricultural supplies. Until now, inventory tasks for paving materials were primarily conducted using analog methods and involved multiple personnel, leading to challenges in productivity and accuracy. On the other hand, the company possesses advanced XR technology and has a track record of providing services in concrete construction sites.
