The "Equipment Women's Meeting" was established in 2012 to promote camaraderie among female engineers in the architectural equipment industry. ◆ Industry-Wide Efforts Are Necessary The roundtable, moderated by Work-Life Balance, a professional in work style reform, discussed topics such as work style reform in light of the labor hour limit regulations in the construction industry set for 2024. Active discussions took place regarding the necessity of reform, the appeal of the architectural equipment industry, and the need for structural changes unique to the industry. It was commonly recognized that there is a significant gap in values regarding overtime work between younger and managerial generations, indicating the need for a shift in awareness across the entire industry regarding work style reform.
