A Small Company Owner in Ibaraki Prefecture Tells His Own Story On February 6, 2023, Parade Books, a publishing venture of Parade Co., Ltd., released "The Birth Story of Asuka Design Studio: Rebirth - The Journey from Dismissal as President to Comeback" in bookstores nationwide. This is a nonfiction story about Yu Tamaki, the representative director of Asuka Studio, and his journey to becoming the president of an architecture company while overcoming various hardships. A Comeback Story from the Depths of Being Dismissed as President Yu Tamaki, who entered the construction industry with no experience, held management positions and served as an executive at three housing companies, but was forced to take responsibility for a scandal caused by a subordinate and was dismissed from his executive role. Afterward, he became the president of another housing company, but his clumsy personality, which made him poor at navigating social situations, led to a sudden dismissal from the parent company. From that low point, with the support of his colleagues, he clawed his way back and established the architectural design office, Asuka Design Studio. He personally took up the pen to turn this nonfiction story into a book. Parade Books hopes that industry peers, aspiring independent businessmen, and those considering building a home will read it.
