◆Temporary materials utilizing "SPACECOOL (R)" SPACECOOL Co., Ltd. announced on August 1 that it has decided to commercialize temporary materials called "Suzushi~to (TM)" using the radiative cooling material "SPACECOOL (R)" in collaboration with Kyo-wa Co., Ltd. and Kanbou Plus Co., Ltd. for civil engineering and construction sites. ◆Improved safety with "Suzushi~to (TM)" "Suzushi~to (TM)" is a sheet that achieves heat stroke prevention and energy-saving measures at construction sites without the need for power. There are two types: a membrane material type that covers objects and a magnet sheet type that can be attached to steel plates. The membrane material type can be used as a cover for temporary toilets or simple rest areas. When "Suzushi~to (TM)" is used as a cover for temporary toilets, the safety level according to the WBGT standard (heat index) improved by two levels compared to conventional covers. Additionally, the temporary toilets covered with this sheet showed lower odors and reduced corrosion of fixtures. This is expected to improve the working environment. On the other hand, the magnet sheet type can be installed on the walls of unit houses, and compared to uninstalled unit houses, the safety level according to the WBGT standard improved by one level even without air conditioning.
