◆Even more convenient and user-friendly On August 21, Rent-a-Nikken Co., Ltd. announced the addition of a new feature linked to the "Keyless System for Aerial Work Platforms." The "Keyless System for Aerial Work Platforms" was jointly developed by the company, Takenaka Corporation, Tokai Rika Co., Ltd., and Tokai Rika Create Co., Ltd. in May 2022. This system eliminates the need for physical "key lending and return operations" by linking with Asahi Kōsan Co., Ltd.'s "Position Plus® Aerial Platform Management." ◆Added features to prevent "forgetting inspections" and "forgetting to lock" This time, the "Position Plus® Aerial Platform Management" has been enhanced with the addition of "inspection reminder prevention" and "locking reminder prevention" features, making it even more convenient. With the "inspection reminder prevention" feature, users cannot unlock the aerial work platform until they have completed the input of inspection records within the app, thereby preventing oversight of inspections and improving safety. Additionally, the "locking reminder prevention" feature allows users of the aerial work platform to press a report button in the app after finishing their work, which sends the locking record to the cloud server. This enables site managers to centrally manage the locking status within the app, helping to prevent forgetting to lock.
