◆ Matching "Leftover" and "Wanted" On May 8, 2024, Tom Housing Co., Ltd. announced the launch of a service called "Amatta," which matches "leftover" and "wanted" construction materials among construction businesses. The company aims to solve the waste and scrap issues in the construction industry with the mission of "using all construction materials without discarding them," contributing to the achievement of the SDGs. ◆ No listing fees and unlimited listings In construction sites, various construction materials often remain as excess inventory, incurring costs for storage and disposal. At the same time, there are sites that lack materials and need to purchase new ones. According to a survey by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the recycling rate of construction mixed waste is only 50.4%, which is significantly low compared to wood and concrete debris. Users who list leftover construction materials do not need to pay listing fees and can list as many times as they want. Users who want construction materials can receive them for free up to a certain number of transactions. The company hopes that Amatta will inspire the entire construction industry to work together to leave a positive impact on the planet and the future.
