e-Plate Method for bending reinforcement of RC beams, RC slabs, and S beams.
Ideal for bending reinforcement due to increased load capacity! Repair and reinforcement method for buildings using CFRP sheets *VR exhibition archive now available!
The "e-plate method" is a bending reinforcement technique that involves attaching CFRP sheets to the surface of existing beams and slabs using a highly viscous putty-like epoxy resin adhesive, thereby enhancing the bending strength or bending stiffness of the components. Due to its excellent strength and stiffness, it is not necessary to apply it over the entire surface, which reduces dust generation during construction. There are two types of CFRP sheets: high-strength (GM) type with different tensile strength and elastic modulus, and high-stiffness (HM) type. The two types are selected based on the target bending strength and bending stiffness for reinforcement. ★2023 VR Exhibition Archive Now Available★ We present an overview of Constec HD's maintenance and preservation technologies for architecture and civil engineering.
