The Rock Adhesion DK Bond Method is a technique that stabilizes unstable rock masses by bonding them to stable bedrock using an adhesive material (DK Bond Mortar). Since the first public works project implemented in Okayama Prefecture in 1977, there have been approximately 3,700 construction achievements across all 47 prefectures in Japan by June 2020, spanning over 40 years. In addition to construction on rock masses and boulders, there has been an increase in requests for construction on stone walls due to the inconspicuous nature of the work. This time, we carried out repairs at the Bitchu Matsuyama Castle ruins in Takahashi City, Okayama Prefecture. We repaired cracks in the natural bedrock that serves as the foundation for the stone wall. *Please refer to the related catalog for construction photos.
