An accurate monitoring system is required to reduce the risks of injuries from falls and nighttime mobility. In hospitals with a high number of elderly or dementia patients, continuous monitoring around the clock is necessary, which may increase the burden on nurses. The monitoring sensor "Techmat" is a high-precision monitoring sensor that uses fabric-based flexible sensor technology. By detecting when a patient gets out of bed and issuing alerts, it alleviates the burden on nurses and protects patient safety. The Techmat, equipped with 1,024 independent sensor points, can accurately detect the patient's body pressure distribution with millimeter-level precision. It continuously monitors the patient's posture and pressure state on the bed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
