The monitoring sensor "Techmat" alerts in advance when a resident gets out of bed, reducing the risk of falls. The Techmat, equipped with 1,024 independent sensor points, can accurately map the pressure distribution of elderly individuals with millimeter-level precision. It continuously monitors the posture and pressure state of seniors in bed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If the pressure on a specific area exceeds a set duration, it sends an alert to staff to encourage a change in position. The Techmat identifies behaviors that pose a fall risk by detecting in real-time when elderly individuals rise from bed or change their posture to sitting or lying down. When high-risk behaviors, such as getting up, are detected, the Techmat instantly triggers an alarm notification.

The Techmat is equipped with 1,024 sensors that reflect the user's body pressure distribution with millimeter-level accuracy. It visualizes changes in body orientation, movement, and pressure in real time, supporting the prevention of pressure ulcers. Additionally, because the body is in close contact with the sensor, there are fewer false detections, and alerts for sitting up or getting out of bed are immediately notified, contributing to the prevention of falls among the elderly. Furthermore, monitoring can start simply by connecting to Wi-Fi without the need for construction.
