When the pressure time on specific areas exceeds a set duration, it alerts staff to encourage repositioning, thereby preventing pressure ulcers. The Techmat identifies behaviors that pose a fall risk by detecting real-time changes in posture as seniors get up from bed or shift between sitting and lying down.
