【PDCE Lightning Rod Introduction Case】Musashi Mitake Shrine
A land resilience product that does not attract lightning! We recommend lightning protection measures using this product.
We would like to introduce a case where the "PDCE lightning rod" was installed at the Musashi Mitake Shrine, located at the summit of Mount Mitake (elevation 929m) in Ome City, Tokyo, which enshrines various deities including the main hall and worship hall. While it offers a panoramic view of the Kanto Plain, there have been adverse effects from lightning strikes during the summer. Several lightning rods were already installed on the premises, but they were removed and our product was installed instead. In cultural heritage buildings, which are primarily wooden, there is a possibility of rapid spread of fire if a lightning discharge is suspected to be the cause. Therefore, as a disaster prevention product that does not attract lightning in the first place, our product is recommended for lightning strike countermeasures. 【Case Overview】 ■Challenges - Adverse effects from lightning strikes during the summer - In cultural heritage buildings, which are primarily wooden, there is a possibility of rapid spread of fire if a lightning discharge is suspected to be the cause ■Purpose of Installation: Lightning strike countermeasures *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
