Wireless communication unit for connecting buildings over approximately 4 km using the 2.4 GHz band.
The "SB-520" is an inter-building communication unit manufactured by ICOM. It uses an OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) modulation method that is less susceptible to multipath effects. Operating in the 2.4GHz frequency band, it can communicate over distances of approximately 4km between buildings with a maximum data transmission speed of 54Mbps (theoretical value). *Note: Communication speed and distance can vary significantly depending on the communication environment. It has waterproof performance equivalent to JIS protection grade 4 and features a highly robust body that can withstand operating temperatures from -20°C to +50°C.
