The "IC-DRC1" is a digital low-power community radio manufactured by Icom. It is a recommended radio for local BCP (Business Continuity Planning) measures, available at a reasonable price. It features an FM radio reception function that is convenient during emergencies, such as during disaster evacuations. It also includes a remote transmission function that sends surrounding sounds for about 10 seconds when communication from the other party is interrupted. It has an IP54 dustproof and waterproof rating, allowing for safe use in rain and dusty conditions. The antenna is detachable, enabling the use of an external antenna to extend the range. It adopts the "TOKUDER" voice encoding method, which allows communication with digital community radios from other manufacturers.
