The "SBT-16" is a slim lithium-ion battery pack manufactured by Yaesu Musen. It can be used in combination with Yaesu Musen's digital simple radio. Even in emergencies when power cannot be secured, the radio can be operated. It can be powered by six AA alkaline batteries. The battery life is approximately 6 hours at 1W output, ensuring sufficient operating time.
