[Hybrid Specification] IP Radio / Digital Simple Radio IP700
A hybrid transceiver that combines an IP transceiver usable nationwide in Japan within mobile phone call areas and a digital simple radio.
The "IP700" is a hybrid IP transceiver manufactured by Icom. It is equipped with two functions: LTE communication via IP and direct communication using digital simple radio, allowing for communication even when out of mobile phone network coverage or during LTE line troubles using digital simple radio. Under normal circumstances, it can be switched between LTE mode for communication with IP radios and DCR mode for communication with digital simple radios. During dual mode, voice transmission can be sent to the IP radio using the main transmission switch and to the digital simple radio using the sub transmission switch. It is also recommended as a radio for emergency situations such as BCP measures. It features Bluetooth functionality, enabling cable-free operation of accessories.
