There is no need for a dedicated base unit; you can create a communication group by setting up two specific SRFD1/SRFD1M units as base units for simultaneous communication. There are no restrictions on the number of connected units, and as long as you are part of the communication group, a third unit or more can easily join the simultaneous communication using the PTT button or VOX function. It has a compact design that allows for flexible installation according to the vehicle or location being used, whether it be ceiling-mounted or stationary.
