The "BP-305" is a dry battery case made by Icom. It can be used in combination with the Icom hybrid IP transceiver IP700. In emergencies when power cannot be secured, you can operate the radio using commercially available dry batteries. It can be powered by five AA alkaline batteries. The operating time is approximately 8.5 hours when using LTE and about 3 hours when using DCR. A belt clip is attached to the back, allowing you to secure the radio to your belt during operation. It has an IP67 dustproof and waterproof rating when the radio is attached.
