A tie-pin type earphone microphone with a 2-pin jack that is less likely to come off during work and has a lightweight open-air design that reduces strain on the ears.
The HM-166 is a tie-pin microphone made by Icom. It can be used in combination with Icom's digital simple radio registered stations, IP radios, and digital low-power community radios. You can transmit by pressing the PTT button on the side of the microphone. It features open-air type earphones that are less burdensome on the ears even during long periods of use. The back of the microphone comes with a 360-degree rotating clip that can be fixed to your chest or collar. There is also a clip included along the cable to secure it to your chest.
