The HS-99 is a throat microphone made by Icom. It is used in combination with Icom's specific low-power transceivers, digital simple radio registered stations, licensed stations, IP radios, and more. To use the HS-99, a separately sold PTT/VOX switch unit (VS-1, VS-2L, VS-2SJ) or conversion cable (OPC-2133) is required. *The optional items used may vary depending on the radio or transceiver. *When used in combination with OPC-2133, it will be VOX only.
