The "SSM-81" is a speaker-equipped microphone (with a straight 10m cable) manufactured by Yaesu Musen (Standard Horizon). It can be used in combination with Yaesu Musen's vehicle-mounted business radios. With an IP54 dust and water resistance rating, it can be used without issues even when held with wet hands. It comes with a hanger that can be hooked onto a hook installed inside a vehicle or office. *To secure the cable to the side of the radio unit, a separately sold screw fastening is required.
