The "SBT-17" is a slim lithium-ion battery pack manufactured by Yaesu Musen. It can be used in combination with the multi-party simultaneous communication system SRFD1 made by Yaesu Musen. You can operate the radio even when power cannot be secured during emergencies such as disasters. It can be powered by three AA alkaline batteries. The battery life is approximately 6.5 hours at 1W output, ensuring sufficient operating time.
