VOX headsets that allow hands-free operation by utilizing VOX functionality.
The "SSM-64A" is a VOX headset made by Standard. It can be used in combination with specific low-power transceivers made by Standard. *It can also be used with FTH-205, PK410, and the amateur radio VX-7. Other amateur radios have not been verified. By utilizing the VOX function, hands-free operation is possible. *The VOX function automatically switches to transmit mode when it detects sound and automatically turns off the transmit switch when no sound is detected. You can also use the PTT transmit mode by pressing a button to talk.
