● HM-249 (HM249) is a hands-free microphone for vehicles manufactured by Icom (ICOM). ● It is a hands-free microphone & PTT for Icom's vehicle-mounted IP radios IP500M, IP501M, UHF band digital and analog vehicle-mounted general-purpose radios IC-DU6010S1, IC-DU6010S2, IC-DU6010S3, VHF band digital and analog vehicle-mounted general-purpose radios IC-DV6010S1, and amateur radio equipment ID-5100, ID-4100, IC-2730. ● It is used for operating radios inside vehicles. ● It consists of a large PTT button with an RJ-45 plug cable, a microphone cable, and a remote PTT button cable (the second image shows an installation example). ● By pressing the PTT button, you can switch between transmit and receive modes. While holding down the remote PTT button, you can maintain the transmission state.
