The EDC-179A (EDC179A) is a twin charger set manufactured by Alinco. It can charge up to two transceivers simultaneously. It comes standard with the AC adapter EDC-287. *The AC adapter at the time of release was EDC-122, but it was changed to EDC-287 in June 2019. It is possible to charge the nickel-hydride battery EBP-179 while it is attached to the transceiver. If you wish to use the chargers in conjunction, please use the separately sold twin connection charging adapter EDC-162. You can connect up to five units (equivalent to ten transceivers).
