[New Wave Support] Hybrid IP Transceiver IP700 PLUS
A hybrid IP transceiver that combines an IP transceiver usable nationwide in Japan within mobile phone call areas and a digital simple radio.
● The IP700 PLUS is a hybrid IP transceiver made by Icom. ● The IP700 PLUS is compatible with the new wave. It increases the existing digital simple radio registered station (3R) from 30 channels to 82 channels by adding 52 channels for the new wave. The existing airborne channels increase from 5 channels to 15 channels by adding 10 channels for the new wave. *Note: Airborne channels are receive-only. The existing digital simple radio licensed station (3B) increases from 65 channels to 95 channels by adding 30 channels for the new wave (3C/3D). *Note: Support for relay (3D) 20 channels is planned. ● It has two functions: LTE communication via IP and direct communication via digital simple radio, allowing communication via digital simple radio even when out of mobile phone network coverage or during LTE line troubles. ● Normally, it can be switched between LTE mode for communication with IP radios and DCR mode for communication with digital simple radios. ● In LTE mode, simultaneous calls without a limit on the number of participants are possible. ● In DUAL mode, audio transmission can be sent to the main PTT switch for the IP radio and to the sub PTT switch for the digital simple radio (selectable from licensed or registered stations).
