● RC-557 (RC557) is a rapid charger manufactured by Circle One. ● It is a battery charger for the multilingual translation IP radio handheld, Cosmotalk C580-MTR. ● Please use it in combination with the separately sold AC adapter AC-557 for the battery charger. It can be charged with a household power supply of AC100V. ● It supports switching between rapid charging and trickle charging. * Trickle charging refers to a method of continuously charging a rechargeable battery (secondary battery) with a small current to compensate for its natural self-discharge. Compared to primary batteries like commercially available alkaline batteries, secondary batteries tend to have a higher rate of self-discharge, so this charging method is used to maintain a full charge. ● It can charge the lithium polymer battery BP-550 while attached to the C580-MTR, or charge the battery alone. ● This product is the same as the standard configuration of the C580-MTR body.
