The VE-SP1 + external microphone set is a speakerphone unit that connects to Icom's IP radios (IP500H/IP501H/IP502H) and amplifies received audio through a speaker, allowing for immediate sharing with multiple people. It can be utilized in various scenarios where there is a need to "communicate to everyone present," such as conference rooms, event venues, disaster sites, backyards, and telework. ■ Examples of usage scenarios - Remote meetings (head office ⇔ branch office, etc.) Multiple participants can communicate simultaneously via IP radio, making it usable as a conference system. - BCP measures at disaster sites Emergency communications from the site can be conveyed to everyone through the headquarters' speaker, aiding in quick decision-making. - Event management and exhibitions All staff in the backyard can share the situation and progress of the stage. - Telework / inter-office communication Immediate response communication is possible through IP radio, making it convenient for daily operations. By using the external microphone included in the rental set (with PTT button), audio transmission is possible even from a position slightly away from the VE-SP1 main unit. The main unit is designed to be lightweight at approximately 595g, making it easy to carry. It is user-friendly for operations that require frequent movement on-site.
