The SMEPC-200 (SMEPC200) is an earphone exchangeable, ear-hook type open-air tie-pin microphone and earphone manufactured by YAESU (Yaesu Musen/Standard Horizon). It is a high-durability accessory designed for professional communication, compatible with the specific low-power transceiver SRS30 series. It features a straight type Φ3.5mm waterproof screw-in plug. It is difficult to detach from the main unit during fieldwork, allowing for stable operation. Since it is exchangeable for earphones, it is suitable for long-term use as it can be replaced when worn out. The ear-hook type open-air earphones allow for easy confirmation of surrounding sounds and provide a comfortable fit that reduces fatigue even during prolonged wear. The microphone cable is approximately 75cm long, and the earphone cable is about 50cm, designed to minimize tangling and facilitate handling in dynamic environments. It is equipped with a large PTT button, allowing for reliable transmission operation even while wearing gloves. Additionally, it has a CUE key for smooth signaling and coordination among staff.
