The DR-BU80D (DRBU80D) is a UHF 467MHz band vehicle-mounted digital simple radio licensed station manufactured by Alinco. It supports 3B/3C/3D. It adopts the AMBE method, allowing communication with digital simple radio licensed stations from other manufacturers. It features a more compact body than conventional mobile devices and has dust and splash resistance equivalent to IP54. The transmission output can be switched between three levels: 5W, 2W, and 1W. It is compatible with DC 12V/24V power environments, making it suitable for vehicle installation. It can also automatically turn the power on and off by sensing the ACC input. It includes a megaphone mode that outputs sound input through the microphone at high volume from the speaker. In addition to 3W of high-volume audio output, it comes with convenient features such as bell, key lock, intercom prohibition between subunits, auto power off, various beep sounds, and microphone sensitivity settings. An IP54 dust and splash resistant speaker microphone EMS-97 is included as standard.
