The IC-5030 (IC5030) is a simultaneous communication type specific low-power transceiver manufactured by Icom. It is a model that has obtained technical standards conformity certification (construction design certification), and as of September 4, 2026, the manufacturer's model number is "IC-5030#11." Without using a base unit, it allows simultaneous communication for 2, 3, or 4 parties. Since it can perform "talking" and "listening" simultaneously like a telephone, there is no need to switch between transmission and reception. In 4-party simultaneous communication, multiple people can communicate while working. However, in 4-party simultaneous communication mode, if one person in the group goes out of the communication range or turns off the power, the remaining members will also be unable to communicate. It supports simultaneous communication, alternating communication, and relay communication.
