Vibration-damping embankment
Simply by installing it on the propagation path, it reduces construction vibrations!
★Newly registered in NETIS in November 2024★ *Vibration barriers serve to reduce construction vibrations simply by being installed on the ground surface; they are a technology for addressing vibration propagation pathways. *Unlike traditional measures for addressing propagation pathways, they do not require large-scale temporary facilities or construction, making them a highly effective technology in terms of workability and safety. *There are two types of vibration barriers: "mass bodies" and "vibration systems," and by arranging them according to their purpose, they demonstrate a high reduction effect.
basic information
★Mass Body (Patent No. 6785535) - It is composed of multiple layers of weights measuring 312×932×1,847mm and weighing 950kg. - By restraining the displacement of the ground contact surface through mass and rigidity, it reduces vibrations. - It exhibits a reduction effect over a wide frequency range of 10 to 20 Hz and above. - By increasing the surface density and extending the length in the propagation direction, the reduction effect is enhanced. - It can be widely applied to various vibration sources. ★Vibration System (Patent No. 6240842) - The planar dimensions are 932×1,847mm, and it is composed of a foundation, springs, and weights. - The natural frequency is adjusted by changing the mass of the weights. - Secondary waves are generated when the weights resonate, interfering with the input waves to reduce vibrations. - It is effective at the natural frequency of the vibration system, making it applicable to frequencies below 10 Hz. - High reduction effects are expected when applied to resonating buildings, among other cases.
