The clothing deodorizing and disinfecting mist shower "HAL・SHOWER" has been installed in front of the smoking room on the basement level 2 of the commercial facility "JOINUS Yokohama" at the west exit of Yokohama Station. After a free trial period (from December 1 to January 7), it will become a paid service! The electronic money payment service will start on January 8. In a user survey, over 1,000 responses were collected in two weeks. The feedback regarding the transition to a paid service was positive, and there is anticipation for the start of the service using electronic money. Additionally, when asked if they would use it if it were near the smoking area, 96.7% answered "yes," highlighting the latent demand for deodorizing clothing after smoking. Once the paid service is implemented, the installation of HAL・SHOWER in smoking areas will become a problem-solving device that brings benefits to the owners. (Depending on pricing and usage frequency, it can be monetized.) The odor after smoking has become a challenge for facilities everywhere.
