[Construction Example] Focused on exterior construction with cedar board formwork and a two-tier large gate.
It was a construction site where one could feel the dedication of the client as well as the craftsmanship of the artisans.
We have installed our large gate on a retaining wall constructed using the "cedar board formwork concrete method." "Cedar board formwork" refers to the technique of attaching cedar boards to the surface of the formwork to create a pattern of cedar wood grain on the concrete. While recent concrete pouring often utilizes plywood, it seems that cedar wood was commonly used in the past. However, once cedar wood is used, the grain gets filled in, making it unusable for a second time. This means that no two wood grain patterns are the same. Furthermore, this method requires delicate work during the pouring of concrete. Seeing the "commitment" of clients and other contractors on-site motivates us even more. Our two-tier gate (height 1.2m × effective opening width 6.0m) was completed in May 2020.

Global Micronics Co., Ltd., a manufacturing subsidiary within the Global Electronics Group, has constructed a new factory in Kanazawa Techno Park, Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. The building and exterior were so beautiful that it resembled an exhibition hall rather than a production facility. We are grateful that our gate was used as part of that exterior.
