Typically, workers wrap sealing tape around the threaded parts of joints and screw components, which is a time-consuming and labor-intensive task, especially when dealing with hundreds or thousands of pieces. Additionally, there were disadvantages such as variations in quality depending on the skill level of the workers. The founder of Taihei Kasei noticed that if a sealing agent was applied from the start instead of tape, many issues could be resolved, and aimed to develop such a product.
