It is said that about 1% of all companies have implemented marketing automation tools, but only about 10% of those companies report that they are using them continuously, indicating a rather challenging situation in terms of operation. In our investigation into the reasons for the inability to operate these tools, the most significant barrier identified was that "the workload has significantly increased." The tools that were introduced with the aim of automating marketing activities are, in fact, resulting in an increase in the workload for those activities.
