Many factors can lower the efficiency of power solar generation: shadows (pic. 1), weeds (pic. 2), dirt on the surface of panels (pic. 3). For example, grass cutting alone (pic. 4) can increase your power generation ratio from about 72% to approximately 98%! Such issues require regular site visits to be found and prevented by adequate maintenance. Proper maintenance also allow to detect issues that are not visible to the eye, such as faulty circuits (pic. 5). In this case, a high temperature was detected on part of the surface (pic. 6), resulting in one-third of the system not generating power (pic. 7). Inspection identified that a poor connection in the internal circuit was the cause of the issue.
